Lesson 6 - Describing Numbers

Use these interactive games and activities to encourage students to have fun on the Web while learning about describing numbers. Students can try these activities on their own or in pairs.

 

Goals

Identify and describe numbers.

Relate numbers to one another.

 

Instructions for Use

 

Number Grid lets students use the grid to play a number game.

To use Number Grid, choose a number on the grid. Write the number down. Have your partner come up with questions, such as "is the number less than 50?", to guess the number.

 

Behind the Blob lets students identify numbers and relate them to one another.

To use Behind the Blob, click the "play" button. Study the grid where the pink blob is located. When you know the number, input the answer in the text box. Click "check my answer" to see if the answer is correct, too big, or too small. When the answer is correct. Click the "next" button for the next question.
