Lesson 2 - Repeated Addition of Items in Equal Rows

To encourage students to have fun on the Web while learning about Repeated Addition of Items in Equal Rows, here are some games and interactive activities they can do on their own or in pairs.

Instructions for Use

Repeated Addition prompts students to write a multiplication expression that corresponds to the repeated addition expression.

To use Repeated Addition, click on "Start" button and input the corresponding multiplication expression in the text field. Use an asterisk * to indicate multiplication. Click the "Check" button to see if the answer is correct.


Visualizing Arrays prompts students to group units in different ways to form arrays.

To use Visualizing Arrays, click on the "Grouping" button. Adjust the horizontal and vertical sliders to change the size of the arrays.
