To encourage students to have fun on the Web while learning about Solving Money Problems, here are some games and interactive activities they can do on their own or in pairs.

Create equivalent sets of coins up to $1 in value.

Act out a situation to solve a problem.

 

Instructions for Use

 

Change Maker helps students estimate and count money amounts to $1 using coins.

To use Change Maker, subtract the amount of the sale from the amount paid. Click on the combinations of coins to collect the correct change. Click the 'Go' button to see if the answer is correct. Try the next question.

 

Converting Coin Values lets students find a coin or group of coins that have the same value in cents.

To use Converting Coin Values , click the 'Start' button. Input the answer in the text box and click 'Check' to see if the answer is correct.
