Instructions for Use
What is one Half? identifies halves and quarters of a shape. To use What is one Half?, have students watch the video.
Fractions lets students identify halves of a shape. To use Fractions, drag one half of a picture to the other to make a whole picture. Click the "Play" button to start over.
Fraction Flags, Halves and Quarters lets students identify halves and quarters in a flag. To use Fraction Flags, Halves and Quarters, select the proportions of the flag by clicking on the up or down buttons. Click the "Begin" button to start. At the bottom of the screen are 6 colours. Click on these to change the colour of the paint. Click on the squares in the grid to add colour. When students have created the flag to the required proportions, click on the 'Finished' button. Click the "Again" button to create a new flag.
